Urgent: Extend a Lifeline of Hope to Jackson & Mojito!

When Jackson and Mojito’s previous owner could no longer provide for them, our sanctuary stepped forward, offering these remarkable donkeys a chance at a fulfilling and joyful life that could span up to 40 years!

Now they need your help!

The un-neutered father-son duo have had a surge in hormones in recent weeks, leaving them agitated, easily provoked, and territorial even towards fellow sanctuary residents.

This behavior has reached such severity that we've had to separate them from the cows, resulting in escalating conflicts between the isolated pair. Unfortunately, donkeys do not thrive in solo pastures, so separating the two is not an option.

But there is hope!

Our compassionate mobile vet is equipped to perform a simple castration procedure on Jackson & Mojito. By settling their hormones, we can curb this harmful behavior and prevent any future harm to themselves, our team, or the other cherished animals here at our rescue farm.

Time is of the essence! Your generous contribution today will enable us to swiftly raise the necessary funds to grant Jackson and Mojito the castration procedures they urgently require.

With your support, we can reunite these two donkeys with their beloved farm friends.

Here's the breakdown of expenses:

  • $400/each Castration Surgery (neuter)

  • $68 Farm Call Fee

  • $50/each Exam

  • $48/each Coggins

  • $100/each Hoof Trims

Thank you
