As the temperatures rise and the sun shines brighter, we are preparing for the unique challenges that summer brings on a 10-acre Florida farm that provides sanctuary to 60+ animals - from heat waves and humidity to the unpredictable nature of hurricanes.
Summers can be scorching, and heat waves and humidity can pose a serious threat to the well-being of our animals. Our key focus areas are shade mechanisms, cooling systems, and watering systems to prevent heat-related illnesses. .
